Developing a Vision

In April 2014, the Planning Task Force (PTF), campus leadership, and invited stakeholders from across campus and beyond - including faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and external stakeholders - came together to develop a vision for the future.

Big Themes After participants reviewed the concept papers to establish a shared information base, each stakeholder group shared their perspective to establish a set of major themes.

Shared Visions by Groups Participants broke into groups of mixed stakeholders to develop shared visions for the future. 

Draft Shared Vision of Preferred Future The shared visions developed by the groups were were analyzed to find the most resounding themes. Those themes were captured with many of the original phrases to create the draft.
